LOS ANGELES (AP) — An regulation that would require porn actors to veer condoms during film shoots was tentatively approved by the Los Angeles City Council attached Tuesday.

The council voted 11-1 in favor of the proposal. The ordinance still requires a helper vote next week for final approval.

Under the edict, porn producers would have to provide and require the use of condoms steady set in order to obtain permits to film in the second-largest U.S. city.

Approval of the ordinance would remove a proposed ballot initiative by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. The clump has long advocated for mandatory condom appliance in adult films and urged cabinet members to approve the ordinance.
